Now for JEE Main Qualifiers, the next chance is JEE Advanced. Its online application process will commence from May 2. This entrance examination will be held on May 20 throughout the country.
For it, you can apply online on this website: www.jeeadv.ac.in. The top 2.24 lakh applicants who qualify for JEE Main will apply online for the 12,000 seats of IIT.
The online applications will be allowed from May 2 to May 7. The fee can be deposited till May 8. The admit cards will be made available on the website between May 14 and May 20. The examinations will be held on May 20.
In addition to the IIT, Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Technology Bareilly, Indian Institute of Science Education and Research, Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology Thiruvananthapuram will also allow admission on the basis of the JEE Advance result.
To register for JEE Advance, a scan copy of the certificate of 10th, signature in the JPEG format, language of the examination, examination center, and scan copy of caste certificate will also be required. According to Vaibhav Rai, MD of VR Classes, there will be very little time allowed for the registration on the website. Students will also have less time to prepare for the examination. This examination for JEE Advance is going to be conducted online for the first time.
Therefore, for the candidates who have given the JEE Main Online Examination, the things will be relatively easier. For those candidates who appear for JEE Main offline will have to prepare dedicatedly in the online examination mode. The results of JEE Advance will be released on June 10 at 10 a.m.
