Academy and Regional Office of All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) will open in Uttarakhand. This information was given by AICTE’s Vice Chairman, Dr. MP Puniya, who reached the Grand Finale of Smart India Hackathon, held on Sunday in the Graphic Era. He said that the government will be requested to help with the required land for the same.
More than 200 engineering and professional institutes of Uttarakhand are accredited under the AICTE. All these institutes have to travel all the ways to the regional office, Kanpur to get a work done, whereas offices of several central institutions including CBSE, Debt Recovery Agency (DRT) have been opened in Uttarakhand.
Dr. Puniya, who arrived in the Graphic Era university on Sunday, said that soon Regional Office and Training Academy will be opened in Uttarakhand.
In this academy, the engineering and professional teachers from across the state will be trained. Every year or at the interval of two years, teachers will be made familiar with the new technologies and changes in the industries through this academy.

Delhi headquarter, Kanpur, Chandigarh, Kolkata, Guwahati, Mumbai, Thiruvananthapuram, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Chennai, Bhopal, Vadodara.
