iit-jamApplicants can apply for the Joint Admission Test (JAM) for M. Sc. from IIT till October 10. This examination will be conducted across the country on February 10, 2019. In addition to the admission in M. Sc. and M.Sc. PhD in IIT from this examination, the admission in the Indian Institute of Science for Integrated Ph.D. will be allowed. This examination will be conducted online.

JAM exam will be organized in three sections A, B and C. In this examination, the questions related to Biological Sciences, Biotechnology, Geology, Mathematical Statistics, Chemistry, Physics and Mathematics will be asked. An applicant should have a Bachelor degree in any stream. 

The General and OBCs category candidates must have at least 55 percent marks and at least 50 percent marks for SC, ST, and the Disabled is must in order to be eligible for the JAM examination. There is no any age limit. In Uttarakhand, this examination will be held in Dehradun and Roorkee city. Candidates can apply for the exam from September 5 onwards. This year, the examination JAM will be organized by IIT Kharagpur.

– After this, register using your name, e-mail, mobile number and password.
– You will receive an e-mail, which will have an enrollment ID.
– Keep the ID safe with you.

The starting date for the Online Application: 05 September 2018 

The last date of Online Application: 10th October 2018 

Admit Card issue date: 10th January 2019 

Date of Commission of IIT JAM: 10 February 2019 

First Session: In the morning from 9 am to 12 noon (Biological Sciences, Mathematics, and Physics) 

Second Session: from noon 2 pm to 5 pm (Biotechnology, Chemistry, Geology, and Mathematical Statics) 

Date for the announcement of IIT JAM Result: March 20, 2019
