Dev Sanskriti Vishwavidyalaya Haridwar is situated on the banks of Holy river Ganges, under the shadow of sacred Himalayan region in district Dehradun. It is seven km from railway station on the main road on Delhi Niti Pass Highway.
It has a sprawling campus of 82 acres area.Established by the act of Uttarnchal Goverment 04, 2002, Dehradun on 11th april 2002.
 
The University is Duly recognized by the University Grants Commision(UGC). Sri Vedmata Gayatri Trust, a charitable Spiritual body at Shantikunj Haridwar (head quarter of Gayatri Pariwar) is taking care of all the expenses of this university.It is fully Residential with provision for accomodation for about 750 students.The concept of Time Donation ‘Samaydaan’ is behind the functioning of this university.
